NUBE Bolsa de carbono SS30 (Cambiar solo si está rota)
The main concern with the carbon bag is that it wears down with every wash. The nylon mesh gradually loses its tensile strength, which causes small portions of its internal content—activated carbon and zeolite—to be released during each cleaning cycle.
In addition, it is estimated that over a period of about three years, the activated carbon loses its adsorption capacity. This occurs because the microscopic pores within the carbon structure become saturated with impurities and can no longer effectively capture organic compounds, chlorine, or odors.
For these reasons, it is recommended to replace the bag once either of the following occurs:
- The nylon mesh becomes damaged or torn, or
- The bag reaches approximately three years of use.

The carbon filter bag in the bottom tank, when does it need to be replaced?
Activated carbon has a high durability because the air water is already very pure from the start (without chemicals to remove). However, it should ideally be washed every week, and the fabric that holds both the carbon and the zeolite inside tends to break down over time, causing carbon and zeolite to come out with each wash. This is when it would be recommended to change it, as soon as it starts to break. This could take 2 to 5 years, depending on how you treat it—like anything else, it depends on how well you take care of it.
