Is it easy to install?

We know that it can sound complicated to imagine installing a machine that makes water from the air, right?
The truth is that anyone can do it, it is not necessary to hire someone.

The best way to measure consumption is in watts / liter (0.26 gal) produced. On average NUBE requires between 300 and 450 watts to produce one liter (0.26 gal). The variation in energy consumption depends on the relative humidity: "The more humidity there is in the environment, the faster the liter (0.26 gal) is produced and therefore it took less time consuming energy.
If you want to know the operation consumption is 450 watts / hour. That means you can make up to 1.25 liters in 1 hour with a humidity percentage greater than 85%.
How can I use NUBE in a 220 Volts plug?
You can add to cart the AC 110 / 220 Volts Step up/down: 2000 Watts if 220V is needed.
NOTE: If your power supply is 220V and you connect the NUBE unit to it, UV bulb 1 will burn out; this is not a factory defect but rather a result of providing excessive electricity to the equipment. Therefore, you must use a 110/220 transformer for countries with 220V electricity, as the unit is designed for 110V.
Can I connect the NUBE to my refrigerator or ice maker machine?
Yes, the NUBE has a water outlet at the back that, when opened, allows the water produced to flow out by gravity. Some refrigerators have a suction pump at their water inlet, while others do not. In the latter case, you would need to send the water to an empty jug and install a suction pump in the jug.

Can I connect an external tank to continuously fill it with the produced water?
Yes, the NUBE has a water outlet at the back that, when opened, allows the water produced to flow out by gravity. Your NUBE comes with a hose and a shut-off valve for this type of installation.
What maintenance does it require?
1.Cleaning:
It needs a cleaning preferably every week.

Are changed every 6 - 12 months (avg) depending on usage and air quality, odor and taste indicate that is time to change them.
- Reverse Osmosis Membrane (Every 24 - 36 months):
When to change it?
- When the Booster Pump stops pushing the water to the top tanks.
- After changing 4 times the cartridges kit.
- If the bad smell is not removed with a new filters kit.
- UV 1, 2 and 3:
When to change them?
When a ray starts to blink next to the UV indicators on the screen and beeps.
Due to the fact that UV bulbs are an electronic component, there is no exact date for their burnout, but they should last at least 3 years. NOTE: If your power supply is 220V and you connect the NUBE unit, UV bulb 1 will burn out; this is not a factory defect but rather a result of providing excessive electricity to the equipment. Therefore, you must use a 110/220 transformer for countries with 220V electricity, as the unit is designed for 110V.
What is the minimum humidity to produce water?
35%, less than that your NUBE will be consuming electricity without production, since the effect of condensation is not possible with less than that humidity.
How much water can the NUBE SS30 produce?
Depends on humidity, here is a production table as reference in liters and gallons.
What about the dry seasons in my city?
The environment is something that we cannot control, it can vary for multiple reasons, including global warming.
For these reasons, your NUBE has a state-of-the-art filtration system, with which it allows you to filter 4 liters (1 gal) every 5 minutes.
You can fill the lower tank from the funnel or connect the hose (included with your purchase) to the municipal network.
Also, for these same reason your NUBE has tires, so you can move it from place to take advantage of different environments within your home. An example would be laundry room, closets, and even bathrooms. At the same time it will be helping you to reduce problems caused by humidity that can harm health (such as fungi).

Absolutely! Your NUBE will work in winter, but there are a few things to keep in mind. Humidity tends to be lower in winter because cold air holds less moisture than warm air. So in colder cities, just make sure the air it pulls in isn’t below 15°C (59°F). We suggest placing it in a warmer spot, like the kitchen, to prevent ice formation during the water generation process.
Plus, NUBE has wheels, making it easy to move to different areas at your home. As long as you maintain the appropriate temperature and the humidity level is 35% or higher, you shouldn’t have any issues with its performance, regardless of how cold it is outside.
Where is the best place to install NUBE?
The best spot for your NUBE is somewhere with good airflow where you can occasionally open a window or door. The kitchen is highly recommended due to the humidity generated during cooking. Additionally, installing it in a closet can help prevent moisture from accumulating on your clothes and reduce the risk of mold. Other suitable spaces include the laundry room or bathroom, where humidity levels tend to be higher, especially during or after showers.
One of the great features of the NUBE is its mobility; it has wheels that make it easy to move around as needed. However, be mindful of the temperature in the chosen area; it should not drop below 59°F (15°C).
Can the unit operate with solar panels/solar energy?
Sure! It's important to understand the different types of currents. Homes worldwide are designed for AC (alternating current), while solar panels, due to the photovoltaic process, generate DC (direct current). If you install solar panels at home, your provider must also install a device called an "inverter," which converts the solar energy (DC) into the type of energy your home can use (AC). This way, the unit—such as the NUBE—will work perfectly, just like all your other electrical appliances, and you’ll notice a reduction in your electricity bill.
Now, if you’re considering installing solar panels exclusively for the NUBE unit, keep in mind that solar panels don’t produce energy when the sun isn’t shining (like at night). Therefore, you would need to produce more energy during the day than the NUBE requires to store the excess in batteries, allowing the unit to function at night. This type of setup is more expensive because the batteries can be quite costly.
Our recommendation is to consult with your trusted solar panel provider about a general installation for your home. This way, you can determine the number of panels needed based on the savings you want to achieve. If your goal is only to cover the energy consumption of the NUBE unit, two 650-watt panels should be sufficient.
What is the sound emitted by the NUBE SS30?
The Fan generates 55 dB of operating sound, can be turned OFF if needed and still dispense water (just do not forget to turn it back ON for resume production).
What does the warranty include?

What is the pH of water?
NUBE generates the water in its purest form, imagine taking water from a spring.
The correct pH of the water for our body is 7.3 - 7.6, which is the pH NUBE delivers.
Our body is composed of 70%+ water, that is why is important drinking water in the levels our body needs.
It's important that maintenance is made correctly, so the pH levels and purity do not change.

What does the "WARNING" indicator mean?
The "WARNING" indicator is activated when water is registered at the base of your NUBE, it is very easy to solve the situation with the following video.

The "warning" sensor is triggered when it detects water at the base of the unit. This feature is designed to prevent flooding in your home. However, sometimes the warning may activate even when there isn't an actual leak. Here are some possible reasons why this might happen:
- The most common cause is improper placement of the rear funnel. The funnel must be properly aligned in its tracks, as it channels the freshly generated water into the lower container. If it's misaligned, water can escape elsewhere, triggering the warning.
- Another potential cause is the lack of cleaning of the carbon basket. Over time, dirt accumulates and clogs the pores, causing the water to overflow instead of flowing correctly into the lower tank.
- It's also common for the warning to activate hours or days after performing the weekly cleaning. Even if the unit is turned off, water may continue to drip from the condenser. This water should fall into the funnel and then into the lower container. However, if you remove the funnel and the lower container during cleaning, the dripping water has nowhere to go but the base, eventually reaching the sensor and activating the warning.
What do the "STORE" and "ALLOT" levels mean?
"STORE" refers to the lower tank, which collects newly generated water from the air before it has passed through the filters. "ALLOT" refers to the upper tank, which holds water that is ready for use. While the unit is condensing, it attempts to bring the "STORE" level up to 4, drop by drop, so that the booster pump activates and sends the water through the filters into the upper "ALLOT" tank, where it is ready to be consumed.
NOTE: To raise the "ALLOT" level by 1, it is necessary for the "STORE" tank to go through 2 cycles.
I followed the unboxing video to install the unit, but the "ALLOT" level isn't rising, and I'm still unable to dispense water. What should I do?
It's important to understand that the display indicates "STORE" for the lower tank and "ALLOT" for the upper tank. When the unit is "Condensing," it means the lower "STORE" tank is being filled drop by drop. Once the water level reaches 4 or 5, the booster pump activates, sending the water through the filters and storing it in the upper "ALLOT" tank, ready for use.
However, since the unit is new, the vacuum in both the hoses and cartridges is approximately 2 gallons. Therefore, it will take about 12 to 24 hours (depending on relative humidity) before you have water ready to dispense. This is due to the unit being new, but after this initial period, the water produced will go directly to the upper tank.
How can i change water temperature?
Your NUBE has a cold water tank and a hot water tank.
To change the temperature set you just have to press the C / F button for 3 seconds and raise the temperature with the HOT button and lower it with the COOL button.
- COOL: To activate the cooler, you need to press the "Cool" button and you will see a light come on next to the right thermometer on your screen. NOTE: The COOL function works when Allot is on level 3 onwards.
- HOT: To activate the heater, you need to press the "HOT" button and you will see a light come on next to the left thermometer on your screen.
NOTE: It is important that the "HOT" is turned off as long as hot water is not required, since energy consumption doubles and also heat penetrates the cold water tank. The reason for this is to avoid being left ON since our idea is that your energy consumption is efficient.
How often should I do a cleaning?

When the ambient temperature is below 15º C / 59ºF, the condenser begins to freeze due to the mixture of the refrigerant that produces the condensation and the cold air that enters in it, so the NUBE makes the effort to defrost, so we recommend moving the unit to a warmer room to avoid lowering production efficiency. If the "DEFROST" indicator stays on for a long time, it is recommended to turn off the unit for 2 to 4 hours so that the ice melts faster.

What is the grayish/greenish powder at the bottom of the lower tank and coming from the carbon bag?
Don't worry, it's zeolite! Zeolites are microporous aluminosilicate minerals. They have the ability to hydrate and dehydrate in a reversible way. Natural zeolites are found in sedimentary, volcanic, and metamorphic rocks. In the medical field, they are involved in detoxification mechanisms. When the freshly generated air water comes into contact with the zeolite and activated carbon, it gives the water an "activation" effect. This is important to emulate the natural water cycle, similar to when rainwater falls on mountains.
If I am going to move, what do I have to do to transport my NUBE?

The unit should not be turned off even when going on vacation, as if the unit is full of water, it goes into hibernation mode but the UV lights continue to function to prevent stagnation.
What happens if a UV light is not turned on?
UV lights are activated according to a unit's program; they do not need to be on at all times.
- UV1 is for the upper tank (the one with water ready for consumption), and it is turned on periodically to sterilize the stored water.
- UV2 is for the water outlet and is activated when dispensing cold water.
- UV3 is turned on when the bottom tank is almost full before the booster pump is activated to send water to the filters.
What does the indicator "REFLUX" on the screen mean?
Reflux is a process that the unit performs periodically to circulate water within the unit through its hoses and tanks, emulating the flow of a river and preventing stagnation. It is not a unit malfunction but rather a fundamental process in its function of generating water from the air."
Is it normal for the NUBE to light up even when the store and the allot are both at 5?
Yes, the unit utilizes the same energy and process to produce water as it does to cool. However, if the tanks are full, it will only use energy to maintain the cold temperature you have programmed. For instance, if you set the cold temperature to be at 4ºC (39º F), the unit will intermittently activate as needed to sustain that temperature at 4ºC (39º F).
The transformer I use to convert my 220V to 110V keeps tripping. I have to constantly reset it from the back. What could be causing this?
It is crucial to understand that the issue is caused by the transformer, not the NUBE device. This can happen due to two reasons: 1. Leaving the "HOT" switch on increases the voltage required for the unit to operate, causing the transformer to overheat and activate its protection. Please verify that the "HOT" switch is off. The other reason is that multiple outlets may be sharing the same circuit breaker in the electrical panel, causing the line to overheat and triggering the transformer's protection. Check if you have recently installed any other electronic devices in your home and ensure that the NUBE device and any other high-power appliances are connected to separate circuit breakers.

How do I remove the hoses?

Kit needs to be replaced every 8 to 12 months on average, depending on usage and air quality. The presence of odor and changes in taste indicate that it's time for a replacement.
The lack of weekly cleaning or keeping the unit turned off decreases the lifespan of the cartridges.
What is the difference between the previous filters and the new ones?
Through extensive research to improve the lifespan of our filters, we have discovered that making them thinner prevents the accumulation of sediments that, over time, reduce their durability. As a result, we have increased their efficiency by approximately 20%. In the previous image, you can see which cartridge replaces which. Additionally, with the purchase of filter sets, we include a clamp for the thin cartridge, ensuring easy installation. In the installation video, you will see how to install the new clamp.

How to know if my UV3 is a model A or B?
Check inside your bottom container and compare with the pictures.
There is no need to purchase both, just the one you need in your bottom container.

The magnetism and some other magnetic fields from speakers, chargers, and electronic devices can damage your level (Please do not place anything on top of your NUBE).
To detect if it is damaged:
1. Open the top panel of your NUBE
2. Open the upper tank lid
3. Manually move each white donut. The levels on the Allot indicator should change. If they don't, it is damaged and should be replaced.

1. Open the bottom tank of your NUBE.
2. Manually move each white donut. The levels on the STORE indicator should change. If they don't, it is damaged and should be replaced.

The cold and hot water outlet handles can break due to either extensive use or excessive force applied incorrectly.
Replacing them is a straightforward process.
You can order the replacement part from the 'NUBE SS30 spare parts' section, and with the help of the following video, you will see how easy it is to replace them.

Activated carbon has a high durability because the air water is already very pure from the start (without chemicals to remove). However, it should ideally be washed every week, and the fabric that holds both the carbon and the zeolite inside tends to break down over time, causing carbon and zeolite to come out with each wash. This is when it would be recommended to change it, as soon as it starts to break. This could take 2 to 5 years, depending on how you treat it—like anything else, it depends on how well you take care of it.
Does the TDS meter detect microplastics?
A TDS meter can detect the presence of total dissolved solids, which includes particles like metals and microplastics. However, while it can indicate whether particles are present, it does not differentiate between them or provide exact measurements of specific substances, such as microplastics.
Can a TDS meter detect PFAS and/or PFOS?
No, a TDS meter cannot detect PFAS or PFOS because they are chemicals, not solid particles. To accurately identify and measure these chemicals, specialized laboratory tests with advanced equipment are required.
