This thermometer sensor is located inside the upper tank (“ALLOT”), where the water is stored and cooled when the COOL mode is activated.

Because the sensor operates with magnetic components, it can easily become damaged by external magnetic interference—usually caused by placing objects on top of the NUBE unit (which is not recommended), especially electronic devices such as speakers, cell phones, power regulators, or Wi-Fi routers.

When the thermometer is damaged, the cooling system may over-chill the upper tank, leading to freezing inside the ALLOT tank. You can identify this issue by the following symptoms:

• The screen shows that the tank is full, but no water comes out, because it’s frozen inside.
• If you try to open the top tank lid, you may not be able to lift it, as the ice has sealed it shut. (Do not force it open to avoid damaging the UV lamp.)
• The display may show “00”, or a temperature reading that does not match the actual ambient temperature.
  
  If you notice these signs, it’s likely that the thermometer sensor is malfunctioning and needs to be inspected or replaced.
